The area forecast.

Moderating temps as we head into and through this upcoming work week. Will be a chance of some snow for Monday into Monday evening. No big deal for most of the area .Rochester should see less than a ½ inch. La Crosse around an inch and my IA Counties around an inch. A storm system will track South of the area this will allow for my IA Counties and my Southern WI counties to see around an inch of snow. Meantime my far Southern MN Counties may see around and inch. Points North less than ½ inch see snowcast map for information.
Temps will start their trend upwards as we head into the work week.Temps should be in the middle 30s. Lows in the lower to middle 20s. Next weekend could be another cold weekend setting up once again. Still some questions to how far South the cold air will make it. It’s a giving my Northern WI Counties will be cold. See The Weather Center’s forecast.
I do agree with their long term forecasts, however the more South one gets we could be dealing with more rain VS Snow in the 19th through 26th time frame. Something we will have to watch close as we seem to be close to the thermal line.
The forecast for La Crosse and Rochester and all of my forecast area.
Tonight. Clear chilly lows around 5 to 10 above.
Sunday. Sunny warmer highs middle 20s.
Sunday night. Clouds start to increase lows middle teens.
Monday. LIGHT SNOW likely less than ½ most areas.closer to an inch into IA. Highs either side of 30.
Monday night. flurries ending lows around 20.
Tuesday. Partly cloudy highs lower 30s
Tuesday night. Partly cloudy lows lower 20s
Wednesday. Partly cloudy highs middle 30s.
Wednesday night. Partly cloudy lows lower 20s.
Thursday. Partly cloudy highs middle 30s
Thursday night. Partly cloudy lows middle 20s
