Hot and humid/NO RECORD HIGHS.

Main story will be the heat and humid conditions for wed and thur. No record highs are forecasted as temps remain in the lower to middle 90s throughout the forecast area.

Today will be our last cool day. A warm front is forecasted to lift into and through the area. For cloud wise today, look for some high clouds from the thunderstorms out in the Western MN, those storms will miss the fa, clouds shouldn't be a problem as they should be drying up as they run into the upper level ridge. Temps will be warm but only in the lower 80s for today. Winds will pick up as pressure gradients increase. This will start to pump in higher dewpoints into the area later this afternoon/evening. Tonight lows will range from the lower 60s across WI,MN while middle to upper 60s in my IA Counties. Tomorrow temps become very warm or hot depends on what one would call hot. It will also be rather muggy. Temps forecasted to be in the lower to middle 90s. Temps in the 100s will be found over Southwestern MN and throughout much of IA.Heat index values climb to the 100 to 105 range. This will hold true for Thurs. With the help from The Weather Center. We both agree after looking at past data and close to the same weather pattern that my FA in WI and MN will not see temps in the 100s, My IA Counties will make a fast run for them. Also we don't see any records highs being tied or broken. Cold front will push into the area on Thur. Strong cap will be over head so this should keep a lid on showers and thunderstorms, though still can't rule them out. Though they look to stay North on my area, Will wait to tomorrow to decide to add them, for now dry looks to be the way to run. Temps will cool back off into the middle to upper 80s on Friday with less humid conditions. Small chance of showers and thunderstorms for Sat as the cold front returns North as a warm front..Temps this weekend should be in the middle 80s. Looking into next week .Monday we are back into the upper 80s to lower 90s. The 4th of July same on the temps upper 80s to lower 90s.  Tuesday Showers and thunderstorms will be possible. It is way too early to tell if they will be severe unlike one blog would like you to believe. The 4th of July looks to be dry for the fireworks displays.

Forecaster/Paul.
Thanks to The Weather Center for their help!
